Man… this picture. I really have no words for it except that it’s beautifully taken. Also, thanks so much for letting us use your camera for the various videos we had to make. This picture made me feel so much worse that we were using it, aaaaah!!! Once again, thank you Mark Pereyra!
I know that today is not the only day I should be thankful for what I have but I want to express what I’m thankful for since some things have been going on.
Something that I am most thankful for this year is actually a someone (as corny as it sounds). Megan and I are officially in a relationship (big surprise? haha)! It’s such a surreal feeling for me since it’s been a long time coming. I don’t feel self-conscious around her at all: I don’t have to think about what I’m saying and wonder, “Was what I said dumb?” I don’t have to think about what I’m doing and wonder, “Do I look like a fool?” I can truly just be myself around her.
Even though we’ve known each other for as long as we have, we decided to hold off on our first date until we were officially together. With that being said, I wanted to this first date to be perfect. We did the whole cliche first date thing with dinner, mini-golf, and ending the night with a nice view of the city. I’m glad she enjoyed herself because I sure did too!
Thank you for being such a wonderful girlfriend, Kathleen Megan Lopez!
Something that I take for granted a lot is my opportunity to continue my education. Of course I’ve been taught that getting through college is important but I’ve come to the point that I feel why that is true. I’m more than halfway done and I’m finally getting through classes for my major and I gotta say it really is tough. I’m actually going to be able to apply for graduation and start that whole process so hopefully I’ll finish within a year or so. I’m excited yet anxious as to what I’m going to do after graduation though. I’m thankful for the opportunity that my parents have given me by helping me get through it financially.
Something that I look forward to every year is the Holiday season. It’s just that time of year that has a certain special feeling to it. For me, it’s also a time when I get to see a lot of my family come together and just enjoy each others’ company.
I will try to remember to count my blessings every day and express my thanks to the people that support me in my life. Happy Thanksgiving, everybody!
